Experience His Presence and Power


As we move forward from the Powerful momentum of the 10 Days of Prayer all over this world,  I have been led to encourage all of the PPV watchmen to continue to press in to have consecrated times of prayer, fasting, mourning and repentance for the Body of Christ during the month of October. Choose a day and time that you can commit to weekly to fast, pray, mourn, and repent for the body of Christ. Ask our Holy Spirit to lead you to follow His instructions of "when and how" to engage in this consecrated time during this month. I pray that you will experience more of His Presence and Power as you yield to His leadership and guidance (Romans 8:14).


Here are some areas to address during your time of consecration:


PRAISE AND ADORATION SCRIPTURES

Great is the Lord, and most worthy of praise Ps. 48:1

The Lord has established his throne in heaven and his kingdom rules over all. Psalm 103:19

Praise the Lord, my soul; all my inmost being, praise his holy name. Psalm 103:1

I will extol the Lord at all times; his praise will always be on my lips. Psalm: 34:1

From the rising of the sun to the place where it sets, the name of the Lord is to be praised. Psalm 113:3

Through Jesus, therefore, let us continually offer to God a sacrifice of praise—the fruit of lips that openly profess his name. Hebrews 13:15

“ Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty,’ who was, and is, and is to come.” Rev. 4:8

All the ends of the earth will remember and turn to the Lord, and all the families of the nations

will bow down before him, for dominion belongs to the Lord and he rules over the nations. Psalm 22:27,28

“Amen! Praise and glory and wisdom and thanks and honor and power and strength be to our God for ever and ever. Amen!” Rev.7:12

“Worthy is the Lamb, who was slain, to receive power and wealth and wisdom and strength

and honor and glory and praise!” Rev. 5:12

LORD JESUS YOU ARE KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS   Rev. 19:16

 Lord, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth! Psalm 8:1

Great is the Lord and most worthy of praise; his greatness no one can fathom.

One generation commends your works to another; they tell of your mighty acts. Psalm 145:3,4

Praise the Lord.

Praise the Lord from the heavens;

praise him in the heights above. Psalm 148:1-14…ALL CREATION PRAISE THE LORD!!!

For the Lord takes delight in His people; He crowns the humble with VICTORY Psalm 149:4

Let everything that has breath praise the Lord.

Praise the Lord. Psalm 150:6

                                            

FOCUS AREAS OF REPENTANCE

1.      REPENT……PERSONAL….silently or out loud repent of known sins in your own life

 

2.      REPENT…on behalf of your ETHNIC GROUP or ancestors in this nation…ie. Oppression, injustice, racism, prejudice; hatred of any kind, cruelty, inhumane treatment, murder, unforgiveness, etc.

 

3.      REPENT…on behalf of the CHURCH in this nation…ie. Prayerlessness; apathy; neglecting God’s Word; neglecting Christian fellowship; disobeying God’s Word; compromise with sin and the world; division within the Church; pride; competition; love of money; sexual Immorality, affirming gay lifestyles; IDOLATRY; honoring man made traditions over GOD; etc.  

 

4.      REPENT…..on behalf of our NATION ( the United States of America)…ie.  Attempting to remove God’s image, His Word and prayer from all public places and government facilities; abortions; equating gay marriages with God’s covenant marriages; homosexuality, lesbianism; transgenderism; police brutality; unfair housing practices,etc. 


INDONESIA


As you know, Each month you will receive the name of the leader of the nation and specific prayer targets for the nation in our monthly PPV blog. As always, please remember you have the liberty to be led by our Holy Spirit during your prayer time for the nations. Our monthly prayers will be based on the following scriptures: 1 Timothy 2:1, 2…..Matthew 28:18-20…. Matthew 24:14 

 

These are the general prayer targets for the nations every day, in the mighty name of Jesus: 

1. Father God, we ask for OPEN HANDS to minister the gospel (Proverbs 2:20)

2. Father God, we ask for OPEN DOORS to spread the gospel (Colossians 4:2,3)

3. Father God, we ask for OPEN MINDS to receive the gospel (Acts 26:17,18)

4. Father God, we ask for OPEN HEARTS to embrace the gospel (2 Corinthians 4:6)

5. Father God, we ask for OPEN HEAVENS so the gospel will transform nations(Isaiah 45:8)

Prayer targets for Indonesia:

1.Pray for the spiritual quality and commitment of current pastors and spiritual leaders to remain high so that they will have a " Holy spirit led" determination to go into the harsh areas of the country for the sake of The Gospel!!! Ephesians 4:11,12

2.There are 76,000 villages in Indonesia. The vision of the Church in Indonesia is to have at least  one church planted  in each village within one generation. So far, over 36,000 villages have at least one church planted!!!  Pray for the "Lord of the Harvest" to raise up more laborers to flood Indonesia with at least 40,000 church plants in this generation. Matthew 9:35-38 

3.One Third of the population of Indonesia is under the age of 18. Pray for the Church and specialized agencies to tap into this youthful resource with discipleship programs, academic training, and protective services for at risk children. Mark 10:14-16 


ANNOUNCEMENTS


Watchmen on the Wall Needed

We are still in need of watchmen to cover the hours of 3pm to 8pm and any other hours that a person may be led to pray!!!! The more watchmen on the wall, the more effective and powerful our prayers are...Isaiah 62:6,7. Please get the word out to friends and family who you know that desire to be used by the Lord as watchmen or intercessors(those who have a burning desire to pray for others) James 5:16-18 is still the TRUTH today!!!! 


Corporate Prayer Time

Our October Corporate Prayer time will be Sunday October 19th @ 3-5pm at my home and online including a time of fasting from 9am -5pm. We will take communion together as we end our time of prayer. Please join us for the entire 2 hours or for whatever portion fits your schedule. I look forward to seeing you!!!! Corporate prayer is POWERFUL as the word says in Matthew 18:18-20. Global Family Prayer

On Friday February 2 we will begin our 3rd year of being on the GLOBAL FAMILY PRAYER platform! It has been AMAZING to pray with people from all over this country(Pennsylvania, Boston, Cincinnati, Houston, New York,etc) and especially ALL OVER THE WORLD(India, Pakistan, Australia, Uganda, China,Ghana, Kenya, etc) Please make a special effort to join us @ 4am with us.


Below is a link that can connect you with our PPV hours of prayer with Global Family Prayer every Friday morning at 4am (CST) and Sunday evening at 9pm (CST). The best way for you to join this prayer time is by signing up for eventbrite so that you will be notified when the zoom link for the event changes as well as speakers during the church hours etc. It is important to note that the direct zoom link should NEVER be shared publicly.
