HAPPY FATHER'S DAY!!!
Heavenly Father, I lift up fathers everywhere. Grant them the strength to lead their families with courage, and the wisdom to make decisions rooted in love. When they feel weary or overwhelmed, be their anchor. Give them patience in moments of frustration and the grace to guide their children by a shining example.
God of healing, I also pray for fathers and children who may be experiencing distance or emotional wounds. Soften hearts and grant them the courage to take the first step toward reconciliation. Help them to rebuild trust and provide the dads with Your patience and grace as they connect with their children. Amen.

Prayer for the Nations
In 2026, we will continue to pray for countries/regions as well as the missionaries who dedicate their lives to spreading the gospel around the world. If you know any missionaries to add to the PPV prayer list please email them to perpetualprayervigil@gmail.com.
ICELAND
As you know, Each month you will receive the name of the leader of the nation and specific prayer targets for the nation in our monthly PPV blog. As always, please remember you have the liberty to be led by our Holy Spirit during your prayer time for the nations. Our monthly prayers will be based on the following scriptures: 1 Timothy 2:1, 2…..Matthew 28:18-20…. Matthew 24:14
These are the general prayer targets for the nations every day, in the mighty name of Jesus:
1. Father God, we ask for OPEN HANDS to minister the gospel (Proverbs 2:20)
2. Father God, we ask for OPEN DOORS to spread the gospel (Colossians 4:2,3)
3. Father God, we ask for OPEN MINDS to receive the gospel (Acts 26:17,18)
4. Father God, we ask for OPEN HEARTS to embrace the gospel (2 Corinthians 4:6)
5. Father God, we ask for OPEN HEAVENS so the gospel will transform nations(Isaiah 45:8)

Prayer Targets:
Iceland is 90% Christian but active evangelism is minimal, most Christians are that in name only.
Pray that Iceland will become a FIRELAND by the power of the Holy Spirit.
ANNOUNCEMENTS
Watchmen on the Wall Needed
We are still in need of watchmen to cover the hours of 9am and 3pm to 8pm and any other hours that a person may be led to pray!!!! The more watchmen on the wall, the more effective and powerful our prayers are...Isaiah 62:6,7. Please get the word out to friends and family who you know that desire to be used by the Lord as watchmen or intercessors(those who have a burning desire to pray for others) James 5:16-18 is still the TRUTH today!!!!
Corporate Prayer Time
There will be a few changes to PPV Corporate Prayer this year. PPV Corporate Prayer will be held QUARTERLY ONLINE ONLY. Our Next Corporate Prayer in 2026 will be on June 14th from 3-5pm through Zoom....We will fast as led from 9am -5pm. Please plan to join us even if only for 30-60 minutes....Corporate prayer is POWERFUL as the word says in Matthew 18:18-20. To join us online use the zoom info below.
