HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!!!
"Dear Heavenly Father, Creator of all life, I am overwhelmed with gratefulness at the joy of being a woman on this Mother’s Day. Thank you for trusting me with your creation.
Lord, please help me to raise my children with You in mind. Give me the wisdom to guide them, the patience to teach them, and the strength to navigate the challenges of motherhood.
When I am tired, renew my energy. When I am overwhelmed, remind me of your peace. Bless my children, and help them to follow the path You have laid before them. In Jesus' name I pray, amen".
Prayer for the Nations
In 2026, we will continue to pray for countries/regions as well as the missionaries who dedicate their lives to spreading the gospel around the world. If you know any missionaries to add to the PPV prayer list please email them to perpetualprayervigil@gmail.com.
Uruguay
As you know, Each month you will receive the name of the leader of the nation and specific prayer targets for the nation in our monthly PPV blog. As always, please remember you have the liberty to be led by our Holy Spirit during your prayer time for the nations. Our monthly prayers will be based on the following scriptures: 1 Timothy 2:1, 2…..Matthew 28:18-20…. Matthew 24:14
These are the general prayer targets for the nations every day, in the mighty name of Jesus:
1. Father God, we ask for OPEN HANDS to minister the gospel (Proverbs 2:20)
2. Father God, we ask for OPEN DOORS to spread the gospel (Colossians 4:2,3)
3. Father God, we ask for OPEN MINDS to receive the gospel (Acts 26:17,18)
4. Father God, we ask for OPEN HEARTS to embrace the gospel (2 Corinthians 4:6)
5. Father God, we ask for OPEN HEAVENS so the gospel will transform nations(Isaiah 45:8)
For the month of May, the country to pray for is Uruguay. The President is Yamandú Orsi:
Prayer Targets:
1.Salvation, healing, and deliverance for those who have not heard the gospel.
2. Pray for missionaries and evangelists to bring the “fire of the Holy Spirit” into this nation and empower the Church to bring spiritual awakening and transformation.
3.Pray for pastors and ministry leaders to mature in the knowledge of God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit so they can effectively disciple new believers who will impact the surrounding nations with the gospel in 2025 and beyond.

Watchmen on the Wall Needed
We are still in need of watchmen to cover the hours of 9am and 3pm to 8pm and any other hours that a person may be led to pray!!!! The more watchmen on the wall, the more effective and powerful our prayers are...Isaiah 62:6,7. Please get the word out to friends and family who you know that desire to be used by the Lord as watchmen or intercessors(those who have a burning desire to pray for others) James 5:16-18 is still the TRUTH today!!!!
Corporate Prayer Time
There will be a few changes to PPV Corporate Prayer this year. PPV Corporate Prayer will be held QUARTERLY ONLINE ONLY. Our Next Corporate Prayer in 2026 will be on June 14th from 3-5pm through Zoom....We will fast as led from 9am -5pm. Please plan to join us even if only for 30-60 minutes....Corporate prayer is POWERFUL as the word says in Matthew 18:18-20. To join us online use the zoom info below.
